Does anyone here carry a full size 1911 inside the wasteband?

I have seen a canted on-the-belt-small-of-the-back holster for one that looks like it would work, but you have to wear a jacket to cover it.

Inside the waist band holsters, are too uncomfortable, for me.

I wear mine in a Kramer (Taurus Millennium Pro .45) or Minuteman(S.A. Champion .45), in the small of my back.

I may consider a shoulder holster, for winter carry. But not at this time.

Check with Galco.  I think I spelled it right.  They're pricey but nice.  There's another company that makes on for in the band carry but I'll have to double check the name.  They are only about $25.  That's what I ended up getting because I dodn't want to blow $100 on a Galco that I didn't like.

I would go hunting with any person on this site.  Some might not make it back though.

Colt 1991  Cool
Carried in a TT Hoslter, "Mikes Special"
The Special sits .5" lower than the standard model.
Pretty comfy, however with my build I should have got the standard model as the Special
puts the barrel to low and it rubs my hip bone sometimes.

I use a Fobus paddle holster, it's not in the waste band but it is super comfortable. I used to carry in the waistband with an Uncle Mike's IWB holster, but I had the same issue with it the gun digging into my hip and being very uncomfortable, also I found that with a soft holster like the Uncle Mikes it was difficult to get the gun back in the holster if it has to be removed.
