Thanks BB.

My old house mate had this old BBQ and when he moved out he was going to take it to the tip. I said to him to take the BBQ off and throw it out and I'll keep the trolley as I have a use for it.

I'm picking up a lee breech lock challenger kit pretty soon and some dies for the 308. Bought a heap of 308 ammo a couple years back and it's ran out but i got a shitload of once fired brass saved. The price of 308 ammo has gone up so much in 12 months it's silly not to handload.

Tell me about it. I used to pay $50 for a box of 22 Hornet ammo. By Jan '08 the price had reached $60-65 a box. Now it is $80 a box of 50.

I started reloading around April of '08. Then decided that since I was reloading there was no reason not to re-chamber the Hornet to K Hornet. I'd gain case capacity and extend brass life at the same time.

The Lee kit is a good one. Mine is the 50th Anniversary Kit.

The only difference between the 50th anniversary kit and the breech lock is they replaced the 'safety prime' with 'auto-prime and a set of auto-prime shell holders..

I couldn't find a Breech Lock kit when I was looking. Only the 50th Anniversary kits were available. I didn't mind at the time and got it. As you'll see from my picture, I bought an Auto-Prime. That was because I found the Safety Prime awkward to use. So in the end I went and bought the Auto-Prime tool and a shell holder.

I picked up a copy of the Hodgdon 2010 Annual Manual today. I see there are a few new powders out.
