I read with interest the old post of the 45 cal air rifle. I thought there might be others like me, intrigued by this phenomenon. There is a true Artisan by the name of Gary L. Barnes in America, who is a custom air rifle manufacturer. Gary's PCP's are a work of art, and when you investigate his site, the amount of infomation available is staggering.

Unfortunately Gary has suffered ill health, and had to stop taking orders in 2007. When he re-opened his book in Dec 2009, it was closed in 5 weeks due to the number of orders. Gary runs a deposit and payment plan over 36 months to help pay for his unique creations. Probably amongst the best custom made PCP's, but with a price to match.
