I have enough trouble staying current with 4 languages. I use Spanish and of course English every day. I need to work at keeping my German and Turkish at a useful level. I do some business with a German family, and the matriarch doesn't speak much English. I try to keep my Turkish fluent so I can speak to my wife's parents in their native tongue.

I doubt I could learn Gaelic at my age and with my poor hearing.
